All 45s
All styles
All vibes!
Buy, sell, trade and connect — a pop-up record fair with the decks open to anyone who wants a go. All 45s, all styles, no gatekeeping.
Sunday 29 November, Next Door Records, Shepherd's Bush · 11am–6pm · free entry, donation optional, capacity limited
A free community gathering for collectors, selectors and anyone who likes records. Dig through the crates, bring your own to swap or sell, or take a turn on the decks.
It runs on 45s — the seven-inch single, the format that made the jukebox and the sound system. Hip-hop, breaks, jazz, Brazilian, world groove, Afrobeat, soul, funk, broken beat, disco, reggae, dub and more. All styles, no gatekeeping, no egos — just good music, good people and good vibes. Family and friends welcome.
Idris — this wording is a first draft, not yours. Send me a couple of lines in your own words and I will swap it straight in.

Got crates to shift? Take a stall and bring the boxes you have been sitting on. Dealers, collectors and one-off clear-outs all welcome — the mix is the point.
DM @7_up.vinyl for a stall An email address for stall enquiries is to confirm.

Open decks means open. You do not need to be a working DJ or have a following — you need a stack of 45s and the nerve to play them. First-timers are genuinely welcome, that is who this is for.
DM @7_up.vinyl for a slot Say what you'd like to play and we'll find you a time.

A room full of 45s and a day of open decks, and the one that set the shape of this. Buy, sell, trade and connect — supporting the local vinyl community, which is the whole idea.
